Fay is a Partner in the Hall & Wilcox Sydney office. She has acted for employers for over 18 years across a range of industries including retail, professional services, finance, insurance, entertainment, manufacturing, community organisations and local councils, focusing always on the imperatives of the organisations she is servicing.
Fay advises and represents employers on all matters touching the workplace including discrimination, bullying, harassment, misconduct investigations, performance management, enterprise agreement and industrial disputes. In circumstances where disputes cannot be resolved, Fay represents employers in proceedings before Industrial tribunals including unfair dismissals, adverse action claims and restraint matters in State and Federal Courts.
Fay thrives on the insights gained from speaking at major industry events. A recognised expert and go-to person on employment issues, Fay is a regulator commentator on workplace issues in mainstream media and industry publications.
Fay is recognised in the 2020 edition of Best Lawyers in Australia in Labour and Employment Law. She has also been a finalist for the Lawyers Weekly Partner of the Year in Workplace Relations in 2017 and 2019.
